bone doctor is a simple to use EQ circuit that has tricks up its sleeve and a million sweet spots. a 3 stage multi band tool... this sounds great on any track or solo instrument.
the “lo” band pushes hard and loud into a compressor.
the “mid” band hits a soft clip overdrive and at the very top of the dial loses sample and bit rates.
the “hi” band is pushed hard into an analog style saturation
the “in” cleanly pushes the signal further into these bands giving each band a different character as it is pushed.
The “out” comes post limiter, and post gentle “tape machine” type o’ EQ curve.
